Paramo
Enjoy this spectacular journey in the central mountain range of the Andes, where the diversity of flora and fauna makes this tour something magical. A trekking that will begin at an altitude of 2,400 meters, in the magical valley
of Cocora and its imposing wax palm (the highest palm in the world).
We will ascend to the paramo ecosystem at an altitude of 4,100 meters, passing through sacred rivers, high Andean rainforests and cloud forests.

Day 1
- 5:30 a.m Breakfast in Salento
- 6:10 am: Travel by vehicle to Cocora Valley
- 7:00 am: Start the trek (19 Km) over the 2.400 m.a.s.l
- Accommodation in a traditional farm (3,750 meters high)
- Distance: 11 Km
- Duration: 6 hours (approximately)
- Max. altitude: 3.600 m
- Min. altitud: 2.400 m
- Full ascent: 1.835 m
Day 2
- 7:00 a.m Breakfast in the farm
- 7:30 am: Start to walk to the paramo ecosystem (13.4 Km)
- 12:30 p.m: Lunch on the way with a beautifull view from the 4.100 meters
- 4:30 p.m: Back to the farm to rest.
- Distance: 13.4 Km
- Duration: 8 hours (approximately)

- Full ascent: 700 m
Day 3
- 7:30 a.m Breakfast in the farm
- 8:10 am: Start to walk back to Cocora Valley (11 Km)
- 2:00 p.m: Lunch in Salento to finish this amazing adventure.
