We’ll kikc off our journey in Salento and make our way into the heart of Cocora Valley, where the real adventure begins. Surrounded by mystical mountains and breathtaking views, we enjoy every step we take toward the final stop at Potosí.
This 3-day experience offers the thrill of being immersed in towering palm trees, frailejones, and powerful mountain landscapes. A hike that becomes deeply rewarding once we arrive at Finca El Berlín, located at 3,800 meters above sea level.
As we begin the descent, we reach the paradisiacal Otún Lagoon, where we can unwind in a once-in-a-lifetime atmosphere of profound stillness and wild beauty, offering a well-earned pause before we set off toward the final leg of the journey.
Finally, we arrive in Potosí, where we take a 4×4 for the final stretch to Santa Rosa or Manizales, bringing to a close a breathtaking journey. One that invites you to reconnect with the untouched spirit of Colombia’s wild landscapes.

Day 1
- 7:00 a.m Meeting at a restaurant in Salento for breakfast.
- 7:40 a.m Transfer by vehicle to the Cocora Valley (10 km).
- 8:30 a.m We begin our hike in the legendary Cocora Valley.
- 9:30 a.m Entering the Andean forest, we start the mountain ascent.
- 12:30 p.m Time for a well-deserved lunch on the trail, surrounded by the majestic cloud forest.

- 3:00 p.m Arrival at our second destination, Finca El Berlín, where we enjoy a well- deserved lunch.

Day 3
- 6:00 a.m Traditional breakfast at the farm.

- 8:40 a.m We cross a forest of siete cueros trees in the middle of the páramo.
- 10:40 a.m: We pass through the giant frailejones forest known as “El Edén.”
- 12:00 p.m Arrival at the viewpoint of the imposing Otún Lagoon, where we enjoy a delicious trail lunch.
- 2:30 p.m End of our magnificent trek in Potosí, where 4x4 vehicles will be waiting to take us down a 50 km unpaved road to Santa Rosa de Cabal or Manizales.
- 5:00 p.m End of our grand adventure.
