What you can expect!
Welcome to this adventure in the imposing Andes mountain range! We will venture into the heart of Los Nevados National Park, ascending to the impressive Nevado del Tolima and its 5,220 meters, which will gift us the most spectacular sunrise of our lives.
Get ready to immerse yourself in the diversity of ecosystems ranging from lush valleys to rainforests, misty landscapes, Andean altitudes, paramos, and perpetual snow. Each step of this journey will lead you through breathtaking landscapes, awakening your senses and connecting you with the unique nature and energy emanating from these sacred mountains. Day 0
The day before the start of the tour, it is mandatory for us to meet at our office located in Salento Q.

- Delivery of luggage to be sent on the mule
- Duration: 45 mins (approximately)

Day 1
- 5:30 a.m: We meet at our office for breakfast and then travel by vehicle from Salento to the Cocora Valley.
- 6:40 a.m: Start of the hike towards Los Nevados National Park at an altitude of 2,400 meters in the Cocora Valley.
- We will cross Andean forests, high Andean areas, until we reach the Paramo ecosystem and its magnificent frailejón.
- We will have a delicious lunch on the way
- 5:00 p.m (aprox): Shared accommodation in a traditional rural farmhouse, La Playa (3,650 meters above sea level).

Day 2
- 7:30 a.m: Typical breakfast at the farmhouse.
- 8:10 a.m: Start acclimatization hike to the Enchantment Lagoon, at around 4,200 meters above sea level.
- 1:00 p.m: Lunch at the farmhouse.
- 2:00 p.m: Handover and induction on the technical equipment management at the glacier.
- 3:00 p.m: Rest in the dormitories until dinner time.
- 6:30 p.m: Dinner and bedtime, as the third day begins early in the morning.

- Max. altitude: 4.200 m
- Difficulty level: 2 (low)
Day 3
- 00:00 a.m: Quick breakfast and start of the hike towards the glacier.
- 2:00 a.m: e reach the glacier's sandbanks (base camp), have a snack to recharge energy, and continue the ascent.
- 4:00 a.m: We reach the glacier's edge, time to put on the technical equipment.
- 5:45 a.m: We reach the long-awaited summit to enjoy a unique sunrise.
- 6:45 a.m: We begin the return to the farmhouse.
- 1:30 p.m: Lunch at the farmhouse and a well-deserved rest.

Day 4
- 7:00 a.m: Breakfast at the farmhouse.
- 7:40 a.m: Start of the hike back to the Cocora Valley.
- 2:00 p.m: Arrival at the Cocora Valley.
- 3:00 p.m: Lunch in Salento and summary of the tour.
- 4:00 p.m: We conclude this spectacular experience.
