The unparalleled Wax Palm, recognized as the tallest in the world and a national symbol of Colombia, stands as the centerpiece of a captivating tourist journey that traverses the departments of Quindío and Tolima. This itinerary immerses us in ancient national trails explored by local indigenous people and the historic Royal Road, which the liberator Simón Bolívar traversed during his heroic liberation campaign.
The journey reaches its highest point at the emblematic “Línea,” located at an altitude of 3,300 meters, marking the division between the two departments. From here, we have a unique view of Los Nevados National Park, Valle de Cocora, among others.
